Telecommunications

We assist wireless telecommunications companies with every aspect of network development, including leasing and permitting, cutting-edge technology upgrades, and landlord disputes.  In recent years, we have focused primarily on expediting permit approvals for new or upgraded wireless infrastructure.  We use the federal Telecommunications Act, Spectrum Act, FCC Shot Clock order, and related state laws to cut through red tape and obtain zoning approvals, right-of-way access, and other necessary entitlements. 

Land Use / Environmental

Leveraging decades of experience, we use a multidisciplinary approach to help our clients efficiently solve their most challenging land-use problems.  We advise clients on the full range of land use issues including the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), planning and zoning laws, development agreements, historic resources, and fees/exactions.  We represent clients before local and state administrative bodies and advocate for changes to state and local laws.  Additionally, we litigate land use and telecommunications issues in state and federal court.

Real Estate

We have extensive experience with real estate transactions and litigation.  Our attorneys have negotiated hundreds of cell site and other commercial leases, and litigated a variety of real estate matters, including commercial landlord-tenant disputes, setting aside fraudulent transfers, expunging improper lis pendens, and slander of title actions.
